We are delighted to advise that Registrations for our Winter Saturday morning and Tuesday night Competitions plus our NetSetGO Program are now OPEN!!

Yes, we are opening our 2024 Registrations early!! Why are we doing this??

Our Registrations are opening early to allow anyone with a 2023 Active Kids Voucher to use them before they expire on 31st January!!

In 2024 Active Kids Vouchers WILL be accepted but will work differently. Full details of the changes to AKV’s have yet to be advised. TIP- Obtain your voucher PRIOR to registering and enter the number in the appropriate section.

Here are all of the details!

• 2024 Seniors (for players turning 15 this year and up) played on Tuesday nights.

• 2024 Woolworths NetSetGO (for players turning 5-7 this year). Program runs on Saturday mornings.

• 2024 Woolworths GO Competition (for players turning 8-10 this year) played on Saturday mornings.

• 2024 Intermediates (for players turning 11-13 this year) played on Saturday mornings.

• 2024 Cadets (for players turning 14-17 this year) played on Saturday mornings.

THE GREAT NEWS IS OUR REGISTRATION FEES REMAIN UNCHANGED FROM 2023!!

Go to the Register Here button on the Home page and be connected to the rego system PlayHQ. Please ensure you select the 12 Month Rego Option. Your registration cost may be slightly less than the advertised amount if your previous 12-month rego hasn’t expired. It is calculated on a pro-rata basis.

SENIOR COMP: Played Tuesday nights. Registration $210. Nominate as a team or individuals are most welcome and we will find a team for you to join. Woopi Netball are committed to further building our Tuesday night Winter Senior Netball. As such we will be aiming to host a LADIES COMPETITION and a MIXED COMPETITION!! It will remain at the discretion of Woopi Netball as to the final make-up of the Competitions dependant on numbers. A Team nomination, rego assistance & information session will be on for those who need it at our courts on Tuesday 13th February between 5.00-6.30pm. Grading will follow on Tuesday 20th February and the Comps start Tuesday 27th February. Standard Netball Rules will be played in the Comps.

These will be fabulous Competitions so get your Teams together and advise us of your nomination. There will be limited spaces available so get in early and don’t miss out!! Preferably, Teams will be required to provide an umpire for the alternate time slot, or may pay for one if available. We would love to see all teams give it a go!!

SATURDAY COMPETITIONS: Played on Saturday mornings. NetSetGO 5-7 Years $140, NetSetGO Junior 8-10 Years $180, Intermediates 11-13 Years $210, Cadets 14-17 Years $210. Boys are most welcome to play until 12 years of age.

A Rego assistance & information session will be held on Saturday 17th February at the Woopi Netball Courts,10.00am-12.00pm if you need help.

GO Competition, Intermediate & Cadet teams are Graded from the pool of players in their age group. Players can nominate 1 friend to play with and we do all we can to satisfy these requests.

GO COMPETITION and INTERMEDIATE Training is on either Wednesday or Thursday afternoons with players able to advise the day which suits or advise they are available on either day. Further details will follow regarding Cadet Training requirements.

To enable these competitions to proceed we require volunteer coaches and umpires. Woopi Netball will provide full assistance, guidance, training, and resources so we’d love you to give it a go! If you would like to volunteer to Coach a team, please let us know.

The Grading Days are on Saturday’s 24th February, 2nd March and 9th March with times to be advised. Players are very strongly recommended to attend ALL the Grading Days to assist us in making the teams as even as possible and to enable as many friend requests as possible.

NetSetGO for 5-7years commences on Saturday 16th March at 9.00am at the Woopi Netball Courts.

GO Competition, Intermediate & Cadet Competitions also start Saturday 16th March.

We are also excited that Walking Netball will again be on in Woopi in 2024! The previous seasons have been fantastic and it will all start again on a date to be advised.

Later in the year will also see the return of our amazing Mixed Hi-Score Twilight Competition. Information will be available in August and it will sell out!!

Woopi Netball are again determined to field teams in ALL age groups at the 2024 Junior & Senior State Titles being U12, U13, U14, U15, U17 & Opens. Player Nominations remain open. We will also be competing in the 2024 combined North Coast & Far North Coast Regional League in March with our awesome selected teams to be announced soon!

Woopi Netball will also be seeking Nominations for our 2024 U11 Development Squad (for players turning 11 in 2024) in February. Participation will be very important for those wanting to start a Rep journey in 2025. All eligible players will receive an email in due course.
