TWILIGHT IS COMING!!

Our 2024 Mixed Hi-Score Twilight Competition is only a few weeks away and Team entries and Registrations are now open!!

This is our biggest Comp of the year and we believe it will fill fast….so don’t miss out!!

When you advise us of your intention to field a team, we will confirm whether spots remain available. Please note- Confirmation of your spot in the Competition will not occur until we receive a list of at least 8 player names and reply to you.

The Competition is for High School age and above. The reason we allow Year7 and above to play is to promote father/daughter or son & mother/daughter or son teams. With many teams being all adults including men it is not appropriate for us to allow teams solely or largely containing very young players and we will be monitoring this closely.

It will start on Tuesday 3rd September and run until Tuesday 10th December. There are no games during the Sept/Oct school holidays and Tuesday 17th December will be a backup if needed due to wet weather etc.

The Hi-Score format allows normal 1 point goals, 2 point goals and 3 point goals depending on where the shot is taken (only GS & GA can score). Before the game starts each team will also select a Power Play quarter when all scores are doubled. A maximum of 3 males are allowed on court at any time with only 1 allowed per third of the court ie 1 Shooter (GS or GA), 1 Defender (GK or GD) & 1 Mid Court (WA or C or WD). Bibs for the season will be provided.

The timeslots will be determined by the number of teams but will be based around our normal times of 6.15pm & 7.15pm.

Teams will also be required to provide an Umpire for the opposite timeslot and we encourage teams to please do this!! Our Committee will support your Umpires and their decisions must not be challenged!! This Competition is heaps of fun and we are not playing for Sheep Stations!!!!! Let’s make this the most Umpire friendly comp so people will be willing to give it a go!! Should you have a valid reason not to provide an Umpire we will do our best to supply one at a cost of $20 per game. Unfortunately, we have a limited supply of Umpires and most of them are also players. Please do not presume we will always be able to provide you with one!!

Registration Fees- The Woopi Netball Fee for all ages is $100.  If you are currently Netball NSW Registered for 12 months in 2024 this is all you will pay. For those not Registered this year or anyone who selected to register for less than the full year earlier in the season, the additional Netball NSW & Netball Australia Fees which will be added are $62 for Juniors (up to turning 17 in 2024) & $80 for Seniors (turning 18+ in 2024). Completing a Registration for any Junior Player will be deemed as Parent/Guardian consent to play. ENSURE YOU SELECT THE 6 MONTH REGISTRATION FROM THE OPTIONS AVAILABLE!!

All Registrations will be Online through the PlayHQ System and payment will be required at the time of registering. To go to PlayHQ visit our website www.woopinetball.net , click the Register Here tab and follow the prompts. Active Kids Vouchers can be used for those eligible.  

ALL players will need to be registered prior to taking the court for Rd1. PLEASE NOTE PLAYERS ALREADY REGISTERED IN 2024 MUST USE THE SAME LOGIN DETAILS AS YOU DID PREVIOUSLY OR THE SYSTEM WILL AGAIN CHARGE THE NON WOOPI NETBALL FEES

If you don’t have a team to join but would like to play, please message us and we will do our very best to find a team for you. PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER UNTIL WE CAN CONFIRM A TEAM FOR YOU TO JOIN.
